Kobe Bryant isn't Michael Jordan! Can we please cease from trying to make a comparison between the two? Kobe Bryant is an excellent player, however, he will never win a championship all by himself. (He needed Shaq, that's the bottom line). Next year, either the Knicks or the Nuggets are going to take it. Any Questions?

ok here I am again attempting to post on this page. Kobe has been and is the best player in the world for the past 7 years. He has the best combination of basketball skills ever witnessedin the NBA. Of course Jordan won championships with his team, but the proof is in the puding. Put Jordan side by side withkobe and u will see Kobe had and has better overall skills than Jordan, except dunking, I think they r either neck in neck or Jordan may can glide a lil more. Sorry, one on one, Kobe will win. Now I have no problem with Boston winning the championship. I have liked their team from day one. But the lakers are young and upcoming with tremendous talent. They will have one of the most talented starting lineups next season

My Brother, please let me say this 'NEVER THAT'. If you put Jordan (in his prime) VS Kobe (primetime), Kobe wouldn't even stand a chance. Everything that Kobe has ever done was modeled after Jordan himself (he even admitted himself). Now you said for seven years straight he was the best player in the league. I beg to differ. For example, every time the Lakers won a championship (with Kobe on the team), Shaq was dominanting the game. Since Shaq left, Kobe has been scoring numerous points, however he never recieved another championship. KOBE NEEDED SHAQ! Jordan use to win a game while suffering with the "flu" (yes, thats a fact, when they was playing detriot on their own ground). Kobe will not be able to do that.
O yes, also I wanted to edit some more of your staements about the NBA. Kobe needed shaq just like Jordan needed pippen. Rebudle anyone? None I hope because I know I just applied sum knowledge a lot of people didnt seem to realize. But yes its true. Moving on, I think the nuggets will be no better this year than last year. Also, u proved a point of mines. Go back and review the game and look at how well "Scottie pippen" played, he made that happen for Jordan, he carried the bulls when jordan had to sit down in that game. Kobe wanted to win, and basically played point guard the years they won those championships. Shaq, ran the points, but young Kobe ran the team, just like magic and kareem.
