As I continue to grow and learn, I'm aware of the difficulties of life that everyone most endure. All of us may not be confronted with the same state of affairs, but all have different situations that press us down and make 'success' more challenging.
As I ponder on this thought: 'We're all striving to climb the ladder of success.'
Doesn't it make sense for all who are striving to climb the ladder of success, to work together? All of us are working hard in our own way to be successful on whatever we have our eyes set on; however, most of us in our technique to climb the ladder have the thought to push someone else down in order for us to reach the top. But, why? Why does someone have to suffer in order for us to be successful? I know some of you are thinking about Jesus. In this sense, Jesus not only suffered, but he prepared a way for people to be reconciled with God; however, we as a people are making other people suffer more than they should, so that we can become successful while the others become unsuccessful. Jesus suffered so that all, not only Jesus (in his resurrection) but all would have the opportunity be successful (only in and through Christ Jesus).
In comparison to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., "I have a Dream"
I have a dream that this world will be a better place for ALL. Let's look and ponder at some of the dynamics that we are lacking.
This world would be a better place:
* If we learn to accept one another (not their erroneous habits) for whom they are. ~ Remember, "Who we are is an application of the things that we learn from yesterday's past."
* If cold hearted individuals in this world would visit the hospitals and nursing homes and meet those who never saw the world, but are held captives to their beds. This would humble a lot of us who are so SPOIL of the things of this world. We will learn how to cherish the blessings of life.
* If we learn how to love, not the way ‘Bowwow, The Isley Brother, R. Kelly’ defines love. The Love where one will decrease so that one may increase.
*If we learn to embrace the spirit of humility.
*If we to embrace Knowledge, Wisdom and understanding.
* If we learn to embrace a positive mindset.
There are many more, but I want to hear from you. What do you think we can do as a people to make this world a better place? Do you believe in the dream? (Feel free to add to the list)
I leave you with this last thought: Someone once said "Let's make this world a better place, and it start with me"

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

yea you are right ! we do that as a ppl and sad to say in he church too. Bt for me it does start with knowing that everyone does not have my struggle or situation.
I have learned and u can add this to the list that " We need to look at someone else's struggle, situation, story or whatever it may be and learn from it so when we face it or know someone who does we can be our brother's keeper. Everyone of us hav a different struggle for a SPECIFIC reason and it all makes up teamwork on this christian race and if someone is not a christian it makes our duty to show them what the ONLY, ALMIGHTY GOD has done for us!!!
The success of one should not be a treat to the other but an encouragement to be as the other is. Its a question of maturity-christlikeness. I believe that a mature christian will not pull down his brother or sister because of self. A mature Christian will be happy for the success of the other. One thing that I think we have to do is to give Glory even when we are discouraged by those whom seek to pull us down. Also the man of God, though attacked by his friends will set such an example that those who seek his demise will see the glory of God emanating from him.
Brother Steven, in order to make things better it must first start with us as individual members of the Body of Christ. It's amazing how trying it is just to get folk to open the Bible on days other than the Lord's day and Wednesday night.
Our proper growth (individually) comes only through digesting the Word; then we can help others along the way.
Enjoyed the post, keep up the good efforts.
Brother Thomas
In order for the world to be a better place first thing people have to learn to accept one another, which is something that would difficult to fix. some people are stuck in their old ways."Its hard to teach an old dog new tricks", and those same people that hate some because of the color of their skin preach it to their kids which starts a new generation. I think its something that would take along time to change, some people are too selfish to help other people. I do believe in the dream, one day the world would be a better place if we all pitch in and make it happen it cant happen on its own. OOBBAAMMAA!
keep up the good work.
thanks sheldon, thanks for the support..
